Join University of Maryland Women Alumnae NYC during Women's History Month for a panel discussion on the importance of finding your passions and how you can turn them into a fulfilling and successful career. In this conversation moderated by Cate Luzio, Founder & CEO of Luminary with Modupeh Jahamaliah, Manager, Communications at NYCFC and Amy Shoenthal, Vice President/Group Manager, Digital at M Booth, hear from these women on their journey that got them to where they are today, lessons learned along the way, and how they have harnessed their talents, strengths, and passions to find the right path.
 

More About the Panelists:

Amy Shoenthal is a marketing executive who has worked on some of the world's largest brands from Procter & Gamble to Google. Her 15 year career has included public relations, influencer marketing, event planning and social/digital strategy. Amy is passionate about helping clients find creative ways to tell their stories across emerging platforms. She is also an advisor to several non profits including She's the First and The Adventure Project. In her spare time, Amy writes for Forbes Women. Her stories focus on female founders and inspiring women who are making an impact on culture and society.


Modupeh Jahamaliah currently works at New York City Football Club as the Club’s Manager of Communications. She oversees Club’s internal communications, community efforts, influencers, lifestyle and non-sporting requests. Previously, Modupeh worked at Sunshine Sachs, facilitating public relations across various industries including: Justin Timberlake, TIME’S UP, The O’Jays, Francis Ford Coppola and more. She focused on securing local and national coverage to raise brand visibility for clients. Prior to Sunshine Sachs, she worked at kglobal and Ketchum Sports & Entertainment in New York City. Her client background ranges from Hershey and Liberty Mutual during their 2016 Rio Olympics activations, American Egg Board, Amazon Books, espnW, Gillette, Los Angeles Marathon and more, focusing on brand awareness, brand activations and media relations.  Modupeh grew up in North Carolina and graduated from University of Maryland – College Park with two bachelor’s degrees, one in Communication and the other in Government & Politics.
